There are four resident associations in the Parish
A residents’ association is a group of residents living in an area who come together to address issues of common concern in relation to the community they live in.
There are many reasons why people may join residents association, some of which may be:
- To campaign for something i.e. play facility, improved service
- To campaign against something i.e. noise pollution, closure of a local community facility
- To gain a greater voice than they would have as an individual when talking to the councils about what they would like to change
- To arrange activities, events and celebrations
