In 2014, we undertook a survey to understand the needs of local residents in order to help produce an updated Parish Plan to cover the next five years and it is time in 2021 to do so again. Whilst recognising that the pandemic has had an impact on all of our lives, it has also given our residents more time to spend in the parish and consider how we can best manage its future.
Hughenden Parish is split into four separate wards, Great Kingshill, Hughenden Valley, Naphill/Walter’s Ash and Widmer End and has a total of 15 councillor positions representing these wards. A questionnaire was delivered to every household in the Parish which comprises 415 households in Gt. Kingshill, 687 in Hughenden Valley, 1125 in Naphill/Walter’s Ash and 723 in Widmer End. The Hughenden Valley ward also includes the villages of Bryants Bottom and North Dean, and Gt. Kingshill includes Cryers Hill.
The 2021 survey is currently being compiled and will be available to every household in the parish in either paper or electronic formats. It is likely that it will be delivered shortly after the election scheduled for the May 6, 2021.
