Hughenden PC Inquorate

Hughenden Parish Council has insufficient Councillors to remain quorate and the Clerk has informed Buckinghamshire Council of this fact.  The Electoral Services Officer has received this information and confirmed that we are now inquorate.

The Clerk has further requested assistance and support from Buckinghamshire Council in ensuring that the obligations of the Council continue to be met, until such time as new councillors may be co-opted or elected.

During this difficult time, remaining Councillors continue to hold office but may not undertake any decisions as the Council is not able to do so lawfully.  The officers remain in post and will deliver resolved actions wherever possible but no new decisions may be taken unless an existing authority exists.
