Originally from Aberdeenshire, Jill has lived in Hughenden Parish for 35 years and was co-opted as a ward councillor for Hughenden Valley Ward (including Bryants Bottom and North Dean) in March 2022.
Jill has degrees in pharmacology and nutritional science and worked in the pharmaceutical industry and as a nutritional therapist. Jill was Deputy Clerk to Hughenden Parish Council from 2014 – 2021.
Over the years, Jill has been involved with a wide range of local organisations as she and her husband have brought up their family in the parish.
Jill enjoys walking and cycling and is passionate about protecting our environment and enhancing sustainability, biodiversity, and conservation by improving council services.
