Dr Stan Jones OBE FREng
Stan was elected as chair of the council for 2023-4. He retired as Group Managing Director of Rolls-Royce Transmission and Distribution. In Newcastle he was active in the community chairing various organisations such as Tyneside Training and Enterprise Council and South Tyneside Enterprise Partnership. Moving south he carried on working as treasurer or chair of various organisations such as The Institution of Electrical Engineers, CPRE Bucks and Thames Valley NHW Association. His present roles includes the SE Representative of the Association of Police Independent Advisory Groups.
